partnering with a company in western Nassau County to fill a Legal
Collections Specialist to join the Finance team. The position
offers a competitive salary ($70,000 to $85,000) and a
comprehensive benefits plan. Responsibilities: Assist Billing
Attorneys with collection efforts Contact clients for payment
Review aged accounts receivable Follow up on aged invoices Send
payment reminders and collection letters Perform accounts
receivable write-offs Review e-billing websites for invoice status
Analyze invoice deductions Maintain spreadsheets for aged items and
deadlines Collaborate with Partners, COO, Collections Manager,
Billing, and Accounting Departments Handle ad hoc requests and
special projects Experience: 4-year college degree 3 years of
collections experience Law firm or professional service experience
preferred Experience with Aderant and e-billing websites preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Professional Attributes:
Strong work ethic, self-starter Comfortable with technology
Customer service oriented Excellent interpersonal skills Attention
to detail Quick learner Ability to multi-task and prioritize Strong
