Job Description:
Job Title: Accountant / Auditor Location: East Orange, NJ
Schedule: 9-5, Monday-Friday (accommodations for Jewish holidays
and Shabbos) Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 (depending on
experience) Company Overview: - Construction and real estate
company with three main components: 1. Distribution/supply house
with about 50 employees 2. Construction company with 600-800
employees/subcontractors 3. Property development focused on
multi-family sector Job Description: - Audit and review financial
records to ensure timely and accurate billing - Oversee contract
payments and ensure all contracts are billed properly - Manage
accounting for owned properties - Ensure taxes and bills are paid
on time for properties - Work directly under the VP of the company
Requirements: - Accounting background with QuickBooks experience -
Understanding of AIAs and construction billing processes -
Familiarity with construction accounting software - Detail-oriented
with strong initiative and communication skills - Ability to work
within an established team Responsibilities: - Audit books and
contracts to identify any missing billings - Review change orders
and ensure they are properly billed - Manage property accounting
and ensure all financial aspects are up to date - Work alongside
the VP to ensure all billing is accurate and timely Ideal
Candidate: - 2-5 years of relevant experience - Background in
construction accounting preferred - Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part
of a team Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience) To
