communities we serve.Job SummaryThe Senior Project Managerwill be
responsible to ensure that the IT project(s) progress as per
schedule, plan and budget based on an understanding of the
requirements of the project and communicate with all departments
within the origination and external vendors status updates.
Maintain project Timeframes, budgeting estimates and status
reports. Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress
and collaborate with project stakeholders and implement the project
workplan to achieve project objectives.Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or
multiple lines of business.
- Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and
motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their
responsibilities and project milestones.
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery
will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for
one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the
overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement
of strategic objectives.
- Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and
deployment management activities.
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of
the project.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and
chairs the project management team meetings.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones,
deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across
leadership.
- Develop and manage all aspects of project and program
engagement from planning, external vendor relationships,
communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements
documentation and presentations to various audiences, including
project team, sponsors, Executive management, and key
stakeholders.
- Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project
and program stakeholders, sponsors, and university
stakeholders.
- Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to
scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the
project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem
areas.
- Continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging
technologies, methods, and best practices.
- Extensive understanding of project and program management
principles, methods, and techniques.Qualifications
- Ability to analyze data, trends or obstacles to customer
requirements and propose/consider/persuade alternate solutions or
methods of implementation.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management), Computer
Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is
required. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or
equivalent experience.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management as well as
both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Ability to think and act strategically and proactively.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Extensive understanding of project and program management

pay range at the time of posting in the specified locations is
$130,000 - $140,000/year. Pay ranges are supplied in compliance
with Colorado law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of
job-related factors, including skills and experience. Some of our
