Job Description:
NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi is a 457-bed teaching hospital
affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The
facility has earned numerous Center of Excellence designations,
accreditation, and recognition for its renowned Level 1 Trauma
Center, Burn Center, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, regional Stroke
Center, Snakebite Treatment Center, Breast Health Center, Bariatric
Surgery Center, and Cancer Service. The facility also offers the
region's only multi-person hyperbaric chamber, allowing up to nine
patients to dive together at one time. Jacobi's Ambulatory Care

supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment and
decision making, coordinates and expedites the development of
capital projects from the onset of functional programming to
completion and opening of the facility. Facilitates the progress of
supporting capital funds programs and prepares and monitors time
schedules governing the implementation of planning, design, and
construction of projects to ensure that project is completed within
time frames as established by control schedules and within approved
cost limitations. In addition to performing the duties of
Assignment Level I at a higher level, also performs the following
typical tasks:
2. Five years of responsible capital program implementation-related
experience, including at least two years in administration,
management, or expediting substantial phases of capital projects;
and
3. Ability to handle complex, allied, technical and commercial
problems related to various project management functions with
independent judgment, tact, and initiative.
4. Related experience may be substituted on a basis of two years of
experience to one year of education.
5. Graduate education may be substituted for up to one year of
