Job Description:

*Annual Salary: $120k-$140k (Varies depending on years of experience)*We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clients multidisciplinary cardiology team, providing comprehensive care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical foundation in cardiovascular health, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is integral in supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.*Key Responsibilities:** Conduct thorough assessments, physical exams, and diagnostics for patients with cardiovascular conditions* Manage and monitor patients with heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and post-operative recovery* Collaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care* Provide consultation and care in both inpatient units (e.g., telemetry, step-down, ICU) and outpatient clinics* Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications* Order and interpret labs, EKGs, imaging, and other diagnostics* Participate in care planning, discharge coordination, and transitional care initiatives* Maintain clear documentation in the EMR and comply with institutional protocols and evidence-based practices* Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities*Qualifications:** Current NP license and board certification (AGACNP or FNP with relevant experience preferred)* Minimum 23 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in cardiology or a related acute care setting* Active state RN and NP license in good standing* Strong clinical decision-making, time management, and communication skills* Experience working in both hospital and ambulatory settings is highly desirable* Full-time schedule with rotating coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings_---__Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.__If you would like to learn more about the opportunities we offer, please submit your CV for consideration here.__#IndeedHC_Job Type: Full-timePay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per yearMedical Specialty:* CardiologyApplication Question(s):* What is the best phone number and email address to reach you?Experience:* Cardiac: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* NP License (Preferred)Work Location: In personby Jobble
