Neurology, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Oncology, Surgery, and
Exotics and a full staff of experienced Emergency and Primary Care
Veterinarians. With the support of their technicians, assistants,
and liaisons the hospital teams work closely together to deliver
the highest quality of care. About You: We strongly believe that
veterinary medicine is a team sport, and our ideal candidate is
someone who feels the same. This position is ideal for someone who

communicates well with others. We are seeking an experienced
Veterinary Assistant who is already comfortable with
handling/restraint, basic surgery prep, and assisting Veterinary
Technicians and other staff members in a clinical setting.
Experience with EzyVet and Smartflow are an additional plus but not
required. We highly value collaboration from all staff members, so
please speak up as your input is not only valued but can make a
difference. If you are interested in the ECC positions, a minimum
of 1 year of experience in a veterinary ER is required.
Anticipated Schedule: Part-Time Hours - 20-30 hours a week with the
potential to move into a full-time roll in the future. Saturday -
8am-6pm 2-3 weekday shifts - 9am-7pm
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.50 an hour dependent on experience and
education.

- Prior experience working in a veterinary setting.
- Experience in handling animals and performing basic animal care
tasks.
- Experience in cleaning and restocking supplies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with
clients and team members.
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced
environment.
- Compassion and patience when handling animals.
- Basic knowledge of animal behavior and medical
terminology.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in stressful
situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians,
technicians, and other staff members.
- Willingness to take direction and adapt to new tasks and
procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow
instructions.
- Punctuality and reliability, with a commitment to maintaining a
