Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Morristown, NJ. Job Function: Day Shift. 4x10. Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment according to policy and procedure. Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients. Maintain all equipment for procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort, both physical and physiological. Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by following radiation protection protocols. Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited radiology program. ARRT certified. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. 3 - 5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
