Pay Information $2,677 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience License: Client RN License in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate OR NCC EFM Certification Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Client RN License - Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate OR NCC EFM Certifications Description: Locals are considered within 75 miles. Facility only approves 5 days of time off; no additional time off will be approved after an offer is received. For a better chance at an offer, the smallest amount of time off is highly preferred. The unit is a high-risk labor and delivery unit with about 200 deliveries per month and 200 triages. Every other weekend shift is required. Responsibilities include triage of obstetrical patients and assisting with high-risk deliveries. The facility has a daily census of 12 and provides interdisciplinary support services. The nurse must maintain central lines, administer anticoagulants and antihypertensives, and provide care during delivery processes. Prior charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios and calls may vary, and weekend coverage is required. Two supervisory clinical references are needed upon submission. Prior travel experience is preferred but not required. A minimum of 36 orientation hours is expected. Nursing license must be verified at the time of submission.
