Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing
in Tele Float duties. The role involves working in a medical
surgical/telemetry unit with a ratio of patient care that can reach
1:8. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of nursing
experience. Suitable for local candidates within 75 miles. Both
first-time travelers and locally based applicants are welcome to
apply. Scrubs, either all white, all navy, or a combination of both
colors, are required as part of the uniform. The patient age groups
in this unit range from adults to geriatrics. The daily census is
approximately 33 patients with an expected average of 17 rooms and
beds. Interdisciplinary support services available include physical
therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy, among
others. The patient diagnoses include orthopedics, trauma, and
neurosurgery with procedures involving various drains, wound vacs,
and braces. Previous charge experience is beneficial, although not
required. Candidates should be prepared to meet compliance
