Interdisciplinary Support Skills Description: This is a very busy
ED Overflow position. The traveler must be comfortable with high
patient ratios. Floating is required. Scheduling is self-managed.
Patient ratios are 7:1 for days, nights, and weekends. Weekend
coverage is required with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
Pre-approved time off is limited to one request. Orientation hours
are 16. The patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The
average daily census is 21 for the unit. The number of visits per
day is approximately 250. The unit has 21 rooms and 21 beds.
Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as
physical therapy and social services. Preferred experiences include
starting and maintaining IVs and telemetry monitoring. All nursing
positions require a valid Client license. Two supervisory clinical
references are required at the time of submission. Prior travel
experience is preferred but not mandatory. Local candidates are
defined as those within a specific distance from the facility. All
certifications must be included at the time of submission. Modules
