Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title - Telemetry Technician/EKG Tech Duration - 13 weeks (Extendable) Shift - Available - Days/Nights/Evenings Requirements /t /t/t /t/t/t /t/t/t Job Summary: /t/t/tProvide advanced ECG monitoring while assessing patient status through ECG strip analysis and arrhythmia interpretation, identifying and responding to potentially life-threatening rhythm changes, initiating codes, recording rhythms during codes, performing continuous EKG monitoring with accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias, troubleshooting monitoring problems, and appropriately responding to all monitor alarms. /t/t/t Job Responsibilities: /t/t/t-Perform electrocardiograms in multiple settings including proper electrode placement. /t/t/t-Communicate appropriately and clearly with charge nurses, co-workers, and physicians. /t/t/t-Enter and verify orders in the computer system. /t/t/t-Retrieve laboratory results from the computer system and bring results to the attention of the charge nurse. /t/t/t-Ensure documentation meets current standards and organizational policies. /t/t/t-Manage and operate monitoring and medical equipment safely and correctly. /t/t/t /t/t /t/t /t/t/t Skills: /t/t/t /t/t/t Required Skills & Experience: /t/t/t-MS Office Suite. /t/t/t Preferred Skills & Experience: /t/t/t-N/A /t/t/t /t/t /t/t /t/t/t Education: /t/t/t /t/t/t Required Education: /t/t/t-High School Diploma or equivalent. /t/t/t Preferred Education: /t/t/t-N/A /t/t/t Required Certifications & Licensure: /t/t/t-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification one (1) year issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross. /t/t/t-Dysrhythmia Course. /t/t/t Preferred Certifications & Licensure: /t/t/t-N/A /t/t/t /t/t /t HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31778627.
