Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: New York Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Cedarhurst, Long Island, NY Full-Time / Part-Time / Per-Diem | Monday–Friday $120,000 – $150,000 per year Benefits Seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join a busy orthopedic practice on Long Island. HPM provides management services to more than 50 medical practices specializing in Orthopedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, offering providers strong operational support and opportunities for growth. Position Overview The Nurse Practitioner will work alongside a dedicated team of physicians delivering high-quality orthopedic care. The role includes comprehensive patient evaluations, pain management, prescribing medications, assisting with procedures, and promoting optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Patient Assessments Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients experiencing pain Review medical history, perform physical exams, and interpret diagnostic results Assess intensity, duration, and functional impact of pain Collaborative Care Partner with physicians to establish diagnoses Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Interventional Support Assist with interventional procedures as needed Patient Education & Counseling Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care Promote lifestyle modifications and stress-reduction strategies Counsel patients on adherence to prescribed therapies Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory standards Education & Training Valid New York State Nurse Practitioner license (required) Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience (preferred) New graduates with a strong interest in orthopedics will be considered Skills & Qualifications Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Additional Requirements Travel required between offices in Nassau County What We Offer Competitive salary: $120,000 – $150,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package: Medical Dental Vision PTO Professional development and career growth opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care
