Job Description:
As an HR Business Partner, you will work collaboratively with
corporate teams and store leadership. You will provide guidance and
assess Human Resource-related needs for various areas including
employee relations, labor management, recruitment, performance
management, succession planning, and learning & development. You
proactively communicate issues, trends, and risks to support
partners and the HR team to identify solutions to support an
engaged workforce.In this role, you plan, organize, and monitor
talent acquisition programs and strategies company-wide to source,
recruit, and ensure top internal talent is identified for key
positions in the home office. You provide clear communication that
encourages the team to adopt new solutions and directions to
deliver consistent results.An employee in this position can expect
an annual starting rate of $90,000, depending on experience,
seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by
law.What You Do
- Provide counsel on all employee relations situations, guiding
teams on decisions for resolution and ensuring consistency and
fairness.
- Coach hiring managers on developing employee performance
through proactive feedback, coaching, and counseling.
- Maintain relationships with recruitment vendors to ensure
proper sponsorship of job postings.
- Support home office departments on succession planning and
talent bench creation.
- Recruit for home office positions, handling the full lifecycle
of recruitment.
- Promote internal mobility by working with leadership on
development plans for high performers.
- Develop relationships with RHRDs to identify relocatable store
talent for the home office.
- Facilitate training programs for home office and store teams as
needed.
- Assist in creating and revising job descriptions, interview
guides, and employee handbooks.
- Support bargaining sessions by preparing CBAs and editing
counter proposals.
- Review, interpret, and recommend on company policies related to
labor issues.
- Facilitate training on maintaining a positive workplace and
other relevant topics.
- Advise on contract interpretation and respond to
grievances.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and
policies for employee engagement and retention.
- Use exit interview data to evaluate trends and develop
strategies to reduce turnover.
- Leverage remote tools to support HR functions.Knowledge &
