Job Description:

Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste management in the U.S. Northeast, is seeking a dedicated Roll Off Truck Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring safe and efficient transportation of roll-off containers to and from various locations, including construction sites and disposal facilities. A successful candidate will be responsible for operating roll-off trucks and ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and company policies. Safely operate roll-off trucks and equipment, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure functionality and safety of the truck and equipment. Transport roll-off containers to disposal sites, recycling plants, and customer locations, ensuring that all payloads are secure. Coordinate with dispatch for assignments and route guidance, including managing documentation for tracks and customer communication. Maintain cleanliness and operational capability of the truck, adhering to company standards and environmental regulations. Assist in loading and unloading materials when necessary, and ensure proper disposal as per company and regulatory guidelines. Proficiency in operating roll-off and other heavy-duty trucks. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards. Good communication and navigational skills. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift weights as required by the job.
