role will be a trusted advisor to Migraine commercial leadership,
leveraging superior customer and marketplace understanding that
will deliver insights highlighting business opportunities and
guiding brand strategy. The Manager of Marketing Analytics will
design, implement, manage, analyze, and effectively communicate
marketing analytics initiatives. This individual will derive
high-impact learnings from behavioral analytics, which includes
developing and deploying analytic solutions based on business needs
and supporting the measurement of brand strategies and tactics at a
national and sub-national level. The ability to influence decisions
based upon careful and strategic thinking and understanding of the
business is critical to success. This positions primary objectives:
The Manager will partner with brand teams to help formulate
commercial brand strategy, identify tactical opportunities, lead
insight discovery, and develop metrics and practices for measuring
and improving marketing and promotional tactics, campaigns, and
initiatives. This role will collaborate with key APEX partners
(Field Planning, Above Brand, Patient Services, Market Access, etc)
and other cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders such
as Finance and Marketing to design, build, and implement reporting,
analytics, and optimization solutions as well as develop a holistic
perspective and recommendations to commercial team stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as analytics partner to the Migraine
commercial team and offer a wide variety of analytics solutions
ranging from reporting and tracking to advanced analytics in
support of key business questions and strategies. Develop
fact-based promotional investment strategies and guide investment
decisions from marketing mix/business optimization and other
analysis to optimize performance, influence business growth &
inform the annual financial forecasting and brand planning process
Derive findings and implications from patient, physician, or
account/practice analytics to strengthen commercial understanding
of market dynamics, brand performance, and key opportunities; serve
as a key contributor to the monthly digest, annual brand planning
processes; and develop fact-based recommendations to optimize
performance. Determine sub-national (physician, sales region
levels) drivers of brand performance, providing drill downs and
diagnostics to performance dynamics driven by customer behavior to
assist the brand in understanding performance. Demonstrate a strong
understanding of pharmaceutical data, data science and modeling
techniques and the ability to synthesize insights into compelling
narratives. Is highly proficient at vendor and stakeholder
management, to drive compelling learnings, and formulate analytical
strategies appropriate for the key business questions Ensure all
marketing analytics activities are conducted in accordance with
financial and ethical compliance guidelines. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required with a concentration in
marketing/sales/STEM, Advanced degree preferred. 4 years of
relevant experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing
information is required, including use of this information in the
development of business plans and strategies. Experience within the
Pharma/Biotech industry is required. Strong analytical reasoning
abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, and
creativity in problem solving. Advanced experience with 3rd party
pharmaceutical data sources like IQVIA/SHS Sales and Claims Data
(APLD, PTD, Xponent, NSP (National Sales Perspective), NPA) are
preferred. Advanced hands-on experience with current Analytical
methods & tools including machine learning, predictive analytics,
and other statistical methods is required. Advanced communication
and influencing skills: Comfortable in collaborating and
influencing integrated brand team members and communicating /,
influencing, and /presenting to senior management. Advanced
agility, project management, and prioritization skills Advanced
vendor management skills High motivation, strong work-ethic and
positive attitude while working under tight timelines Proven
experience as an integral member of a high- performing work team.
