Job Description:

HumanHire has partnered with one of Long Island's fastest growing organizations in search of a Cost Analyst for their office in Deer Park, NY.

We are seeking candidates with 5 years of experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or Operations Manager.

What we offer:
Position: Cost Analyst Salary: $100,000-125,000 per year Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Disability, PTO, 401K Match

Responsibilities:
Analyze data to improve revenue, cost efficiency, and asset utilization Track data to improve efficiency based off company KPMs Oversee inventory controls, develop cost standards, and analyze production costs Collaborate with procurement team to ensure all purchasing agreements align with budgeted costs and specifications Identify and enhance areas of profitability & improvement, providing recommendations to improve processes and procedures Review contracts, ensuring compliance within company, local, state, and federal policies Collaborate with credit department to minimize risk & make credit decisions Assist with monthly closing process Analyze financial statements and prepare analysis of monthly results Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets Monitor risk matters and coordinate with insurance brokers

Requirements:
5 years of experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, Operations Manager, or relevant role Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field Strong working knowledge of cost analytics, financial reports, operating metrics, and job cost systems Strong organizational and leadership skills Proficiency in Excel
