Account Executive - Construction Materials
Our client is a leader in the construction industry, producing construction materials and providing construction services. They are seeking to hire an Account Executive responsible for managing clients, building relationships and identifying new opportunities to grow the business. In this role, you will work with clients who trust your judgment to recommend the best solutions/materials while maintaining safety regulations and environmental protection procedures. Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed sales goals/quotas
• Prepare quotes, proposals and negotiate/close sales
• Develop strategic sales plans in order to increase sales
• Establish and maintain client relationships, uncover new sales opportunities/upsell
• Manage client base, client communication and records/reports
• Keep well-informed of industry competitors and market
• Ensure customer satisfaction and information accuracy in collaboration w/ internal depts.
• Maintain safety policies/procedures, ensure environmental protection Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Min. 3+ years of Outside Sales experience preferably within Construction industry required
  • Knowledge / Understanding of Construction industry, PPE, OSHA, MSHA requirements
  • Aggregate experience strongly preferred
  • Adhere to safety requirements/procedures and interpret instructions
  • Knowledge / Understanding of State and US DOT rules/regulations
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel as needed (Territory is Nassau and Suffolk Counties) Offering:
    • Base Salary $65,000 - $85,000+ (based on experience)
    • Bonus Potential
