Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate of Apis Services , is
currently seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join
our team as Sub/Per Diem Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at our
group homes in the Parsippany area , supporting adults with
intellectual disabilities. This flexible role is ideal for
individuals looking to supplement their income while making a
meaningful difference. Our Mission To achieve full societal
participation for all people with disabilities. Responsibilities
Direct Support Professionals provide hands-on care, supervision,
mentoring, and guidance to individuals with intellectual and
physical disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting
individuals with: Daily living skills (cooking, housekeeping,
hygiene) Health and wellness (personal medical care, healthy
living) Community participation (shopping, recreation, outings)
Social and emotional development (coping skills, communication,
friendships) Budgeting and money management Promoting independence,
dignity, and autonomy Your work will help individuals build
confidence, independence, and essential life skills. Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older High School Diploma or GED Valid driver’s
license DSP experience preferred (but not required) Ability to
successfully complete: State and Federal criminal background checks
Drug screening Pre-employment physical and PPD Willingness to
complete all required orientation and pre-service training Why Work
